  • During the first 48 hours after your treatment session, you should still avoid using any product containing tretinoin. You must also refrain from any exfoliating treatment, waxing, and using depilatories during this period. Finally, do not use over-the-counter acne medications for the first two days after treatment.

  Three Days After Treatment

  • You must protect your skin from sun damage for the first three to five days after your HydraFacial. This treatment gently removes the top layers of dead skin cells. This exposes a layer of fresh, healthy skin cells that are more vulnerable than the older skin you’ve had removed.
