It works more superficially than stronger fractional lasers, which is why it needs a series and why it involves almost no downtime.
Most of the treatments on this menu correct something. Clear + Brilliant mostly prevents. It works superficially, it takes fifteen minutes, and you can have it on a Thursday and be fine for the weekend, which is exactly why it suits people in their late twenties and thirties who do not yet have a complaint but would rather not develop one. If you already have deep lines, established scarring or significant sun damage, this is not the right treatment and something stronger is.

A single treatment before an event gives a real glow within 24 hours and is a perfectly reasonable thing to book on its own. Textural change, though, is cumulative and needs the series.

How it works
Fractional, but deliberately shallow.
The laser divides its energy into millions of microscopic treatment zones rather than treating the whole surface, leaving untreated skin between each zone to speed healing.
Each zone triggers a controlled healing response in the upper layers, stimulating collagen and replacing damaged surface tissue with new skin.
Because the zones are shallow, recovery is measured in hours rather than days, and the trade is that the change is cumulative. Each session builds on the last, which is why the protocol is four to six.

Starts working: 1 to 3 days. Lasts: Improves for 6 months. Mechanical rather than light-based, at $500, and safe on every skin tone. Better for scarring and collagen; Clear + Brilliant is better for surface tone and glow.

Aftercare
Minimal, but there is a texture stage nobody warns you about.
Mild redness, like light sun exposure. Most people go straight back to normal activity.
Skin develops a fine sandpaper-like texture as it renews. This is expected, it is temporary, and it is the treatment working.
The rough texture sheds and the glow appears underneath.
Let the surface come away on its own. Scrubbing it off early undoes the point.

Most patients describe the sensation as a warm, prickly feeling. We apply a topical numbing cream 20-30 minutes before treatment to ensure your comfort. The treatment itself takes only 15-20 minutes. Most patients find it very tolerable, and much gentler than more aggressive laser treatments like Fraxel.
Downtime is minimal, which is one of Clear + Brilliant’s biggest advantages. You may experience mild redness for 12-24 hours and a sandpaper-like texture for 3-5 days as your skin renews. Most patients return to work and normal activities immediately, though some prefer to schedule treatments before a weekend.
