Clear + Brilliant is a unique laser treatment that can help improve several common skin concerns. The laser energy targets the upper dermis, causing controlled damage to the skin cells. This triggers the body's natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production. As a result, Clear + Brilliant can help improve hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damage, and fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, laser treatment can also help to reduce the appearance of mild acne scars and prevent the signs of aging. Clear + Brilliant is a safe and effective treatment with minimal downtime, making it an ideal choice for busy patients looking to improve their skin's appearance.

Clear + Brilliant FAQ’s
Is clear and brilliant better than Microneedling?
Microneedling treatments penetrate the skin less deeply than Clear + Brilliant. This means that microneedling is recommended for superficial skin conditions. Treatments cause less injury to the skin, which minimizes the amount of post-procedure redness, inflammation, and recovery time.
Clear + Brilliant can penetrate deeper into the epidermis, giving you a more dramatic result. Additionally, the penetration depths are adjustable, meaning we will entirely customize the treatment based on your unique skin concerns.
Can clear and brilliant ruin your skin?
While the side effects from Clear+Brilliant Laser treatment are mild, they can include some redness and irritation. However, most patients don't require time off work or avoidance of social events because these symptoms aren't severe enough to prevent them from going on with their daily lives!
What is clear and brilliant procedure?
A Typical Clear + Brilliant® Treatment:
- Begins with a consultation to see if Clear + Brilliant® is right for you
- Requires about 30 minutes for a complete session.
- It may involve the application of topical numbing cream to your face before treatment to provide additional comfort.
- Our skin care professional will gently guide the Clear + Brilliant® handpiece across the target area and actively treat your skin for approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Utilizes the patented Intelligent Optical Tracking® technology to ensure proper contact with your skin to deliver a uniform application to all treated areas
- With Clear + Brilliant Perméa® treatments, the Perméa® handpiece may enhance the uptake of topical skincare treatments by increasing the skin's permeability. A refreshing biocellulose masque may also be applied 10-15 minutes after treatment.
Does clear and brilliant laser hurt?

What should I do after my Clear + Brilliant?
- Cleanse your skin for the first few days after treatment using a gentle cleanser. Avoid scrubbing, rubbing, or the use of exfoliants.
- Avoid excessive exercise, sweat, swimming, or exposing skin to heat and sun for two days after treatment.
- Avoid scrubs, toners, glycolic acid, and retinoids until the skin has healed completely from your treatment. Your skin will be sensitive after the treatment. Do not use products that will irritate you during this time. Please see the post-treatment product list below.
- You can return to a regular skin care regimen once the skin has healed completely.
- You must use sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. The sunscreen you use should offer broadband protection (UVA and UVB) and have a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or more. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. If direct sun exposure is necessary, wear a hat and clothing that covers the treated area. Your practice of diligent sunscreen use may lower the risk of laser-induced hyperpigmentation (darker color)
- If you notice any blisters, cuts, bruises, crusting/scabs, areas of raw skin, ulcerations, active bleeding, increased discomfort or pain, pigment changes (lighter or darker than usual complexion), or any other problems, be sure to get in touch with our office as soon as possible.
