About The NovoTHOR Low Level Laser Therapy Pod
The NovoTHOR Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) bed delivers a whole-body light therapy treatment called Photobiomodulation therapy, or PBM. Previously known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), PBM is the application of red/near-infrared light to the tissue where there is degeneration or injury to improve, repair, and reduce inflammation/pain experienced. PBM technology and the NovoTHOR Low-Level Laser Therapy pod offer drug-free pain relief and regenerative healing in 1 to 10-minute treatments. By increasing ATP and reducing oxidative stress, the NovoThor LLLT creates a cascade of mitochondrial and intracellular downstream effects leading to improved tissue repair and reduced inflammation.

Conditions Novothor Low Level Laser
NovoThor PBM light bed offers drug-free pain relief, regenerative healing, and improved tissue regeneration using treatments between 1 and 10 minutes. By increasing ATP production and reducing oxidative stress, the NovoTHOR provides a multitude of benefits, including:
- Reduced obesity, when combined with a healthy diet and exercise program
- Restored joint mobility through a reduction in pain and stiffness
- Improved muscle strength
- Reduced muscle fatigue
- Reduced delayed onset muscle soreness.
NovoTHOR is a revolutionary new treatment that treats the whole body, from head to toe, in less than 15 minutes. It's unlike anything you've ever experienced and will leave you feeling better than ever!
Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center is excited to offer NovoTHOR Light Therapy treatments to our clients. NovoTHOR is a groundbreaking treatment that uses light energy to repair tissue damage and promote healing. The therapy treats various injuries, including sprains, strains, and tendonitis. It can also be used to reduce inflammation and improve circulation. Best of all, NovoTHOR Light Therapy is completely non-invasive and has no side effects.
Our staff is highly trained in NovoTHOR treatments. This cutting-edge technology uses Photobiomodulation to deliver light energy deep into the tissue, stimulating the body's natural healing process. NovoTHOR treatments can relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and speed up the healing of injuries. We offer a wide range of treatment packages to suit your individual needs. Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain or are seeking to accelerate the healing of an injury, our Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center team can help you achieve your goals.
NovoTHOR Low Level Laser Therapy FAQ’s
How often can you use red light therapy?
You can use red light therapy every day. Most people see little benefit in using it more than once per day. Your practitioner will advise you about your treatment plan for handheld treatments.

How Does Photobiomodulation (PBM) Work?
Every cell in our body has millions of energy generators called mitochondrion. These mitochondria provide most of the required ATP for cells – a chemical responsible for energy release within cells. Not only responsible for energy, but ATP also drives many cellular and physiological functions, including those directly related to injury repair and pain relief.
When a cell is damaged through injury or trauma, or when cells get stressed (perhaps due to disease, injury, or aging), the mitochondria produce nitric oxide (NO). Once this happens, the production of ATP is drastically reduced or, in some cases, stopped altogether. As a result, the rate of healing slows dramatically.
That's where the NovoTHOR light pod comes in. Using PBM delivered at the right frequency to affected cells causes the mitochondria to spring into action, producing increased amounts of ADP immediately. The ADP then links with free oxygen singlets to produce ATP. Again, infrared light increases the production of ATP in damaged or resting mitochondria.
PBM will displace nitric oxide at the correct wavelength, density, and intensity, allowing oxygen back in so ATP is restored and oxidative stress reduced. So, once your normal mitochondrial function is restored, cell metabolism is improved, and healing will occur much quicker.
How many sessions are needed?
The type of treatment you need depends on the goal and current condition. Acute injuries (sprains, abrasions) show rapid improvement, while chronic conditions may take ten treatments to see significant results.
What are the side effects of low-level laser therapy?
Laser therapy has several side effects, including minor burns and infections. It can also lead to dyspigmentation or Koebner phenomenon in rare cases if not done correctly by an experienced technician who understands how it works best for your skin type!
Who should not use NovoThor low level laser ?
Cancer
Do not use PBM over any known malignant lesions unless:
- For pain relief during the terminal stages of the illness, but only with their physician's permission.
- For cancer therapy side effects (e.g., oral mucositis, radiation dermatitis, etc.), but only with their physician's approval.
Pregnancy
There is no evidence of harm to an unborn baby. However, there are no safety tests either, so for medico-legal reasons, we recommend not treating directly over the developing fetus. It may be used on the pregnant woman to treat back pain etc.
Thyroid
There is no evidence of harm and some evidence of benefit for treating Hashimoto's thyroiditis with PBM. As with many things in life, too much of what is good for us may be harmful, so it is conceivable that a high-intensity laser treatment direct to the thyroid might (temporarily) stimulate (or inhibit) some thyroid activity. We suggest not applying lasers directly over the thyroid. However, the THOR LED treatments are relatively low intensity and less likely to trigger any adverse events when treating that region of the neck.
Tattoo
Treating a tattoo with a higher irradiance laser may cause pain as the dye absorbs the laser energy and gets hot. If treatment is painful, remove the probe from contact and treat ~15mm from the skin's surface.
Hair on the head
Treatment on the head and neck with high irradiance laser may cause pain as the melanin in the fine superficial hair follicle absorbs much of the laser energy. If treatment is painful, remove the probe from contact and treat ~15mm from the skin's surface.
Very dark skin
Occasionally some people with very dark skin feel an unpleasant amount of heat. If treatment is painful, remove the probe from contact and treat ~15mm from the skin's surface.

What should I tell my doctor before getting NovoTHOR Low Level Laser Therapy?
Before getting NovoThor low-level laser therapy, it is essential to consult with a doctor. NovoThor is indicated for many conditions and patients, but some contraindications exist. For example, pregnant women and those with pacemakers should not undergo treatment. Patients with active cancer should also not receive NovoThor therapy. It is also essential to inform the doctor about any other medications the patient is taking, as NovoThor may interact with some drugs. Overall, NovoThor is a safe and effective treatment option for many people, but it is always best to consult with a doctor beforehand to ensure that it is the right choice for the patient.
What should I do before my NovoTHOR Low Level Laser Therapy treatment?
To get the best treatment possible, nourishing your skin with hydration all day long is essential. Remove any jewelry that could refract light or scratch the unit before starting the session; limit the use of products containing agents which block UV rays like benzoyl peroxide (which can cause discoloration), silicone oils, etc., as these may interfere during therapy sessions and make marks on the treated area(s). Drink plenty of water every 24 hours - this will help keep you feeling fresh!
What should I do after my NovoTHOR Low Level Laser Therapy treatment?
HYDRATE!! Our cells need water to function, so you must drink extra after PBM. In addition, eat well and feel good during this recovery time for your body!
