Minimizes Scars

Controlled skin renewal dramatically reduces acne scars, surgical scars, and textural irregularities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fractional CO2 delivers precise columns of laser energy that create microscopic treatment zones while leaving surrounding tissue intact. This triggers your body’s natural healing response and stimulates new collagen and elastin production — remodeling your skin from within.

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to keep you comfortable. Most patients describe the sensation as a warm tingling or mild stinging. Your provider will keep you comfortable throughout the session.

Your skin will appear red and feel similar to a sunburn for 5–7 days, with mild swelling and peeling in the first week. Most patients return to normal activities within 7–10 days. Residual redness may persist for several weeks before fading.

Many patients see dramatic results from a single treatment. Depending on the severity of your concerns, 2–3 sessions spaced 6–12 weeks apart may be recommended. Your provider will build a plan around your goals.

Initial improvements appear once the skin has healed (1–2 weeks). The most significant results develop over the following 3–6 months as new collagen forms, with continued improvement for up to a year.

Fine lines and wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, sun damage, age spots, uneven tone, rough texture, skin laxity, and enlarged pores. Commonly treated on the face, neck, chest, and hands.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning, retinoids, and certain medications for 2–4 weeks beforehand. Your provider will give you a detailed pre- and post-care regimen including gentle cleansers, healing ointments, and SPF.

Results are long-lasting because CO2 laser creates structural changes by building new collagen. With proper skincare and daily SPF, results can last for years — some patients add maintenance treatments every few years.
