Morpheus8 · Full face
In short
Morpheus8 is radiofrequency microneedling. Fine needles create micro-channels in the skin and simultaneously deliver radiofrequency energy into the deeper dermis, so the treatment remodels collagen at a depth mechanical microneedling cannot reach. That combination is what makes it a tightening treatment rather than only a resurfacing one.
Mechanical microneedling works the surface. Morpheus8 works the scaffolding underneath it. The needles create the same micro-channels, then release radiofrequency energy into the deeper dermis, where the collagen and fat that hold your face up actually sit. That is why it reads as tightening rather than polishing, and why it can treat a heavy jawline or a crepey neck that a serum and a roller cannot.
Units and cost
Session counts and pricing by area, from the live treatment menu.
| Area | Typical units | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Full face | 3 sessions | $1,200 per session |
| Neck | 3 sessions | $1,200 per session |
| Chest / decolletage | 3 sessions | $1,200 per session |
| Eyes / lower lid | 3 sessions | $500 per session |
| Any two areas combined | 3 sessions | from $1,300 per session |
| Any three areas combined | 3 sessions | from $1,750 per session |
| Body, smaller area | 3 to 4 sessions | from $1,300 per session |
| Body, larger area | 3 to 4 sessions | from $1,750 per session |
Most patients need three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Combined areas are cheaper than booking each separately, which is why adding the neck at the same appointment is the most common upgrade. Your provider confirms the plan at consultation.

How it works
Understanding what the device is actually doing explains why the result keeps developing for months after you leave.
Fine needles create controlled micro-channels through the skin surface, triggering the natural wound-healing response.
At depth, each needle releases radiofrequency energy into the dermis, heating the tissue enough to contract existing collagen and signal new collagen production.
Over the following weeks and months the remodelled collagen tightens and thickens the skin, which is what produces the lifting effect.
Which product
What separates radiofrequency microneedling from everything near it.

Starts working: 2 to 4 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Needles plus radiofrequency heat into the deeper dermis. The only one of these that meaningfully addresses laxity as well as texture.
Starts working: 1 to 2 weeks. Lasts: Improves for up to 6 months. Mechanical needling with no heat. Better tolerated and cheaper at $500 a session, but it works the surface, not the scaffolding.
Starts working: 8 to 12 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. Focused ultrasound, no needles and no channels. Goes deeper again for lifting, but does nothing for surface texture or pores.
Starts working: 2 to 4 weeks. Lasts: Up to 12 months. A different RF microneedling platform carried at selected centers. Ask which device your center runs.
Good to know
The concerns our providers treat with it most.

Contract existing collagen and stimulate new collagen to firm skin that has started to loosen, without surgery and without a scar.
The jaw and upper neck are where laxity shows first. Treating them together carries the tightening across the jaw border instead of stopping at it.
Collagen remodelling improves the lines that sit in the skin itself, rather than the ones caused purely by muscle movement.
Depth is adjustable, so scarred and uneven areas can be treated more aggressively than the surrounding skin.
Radiofrequency energy is not absorbed by pigment the way light-based devices are, so the risk profile is more forgiving on deeper skin.
Abdomen, flanks, arms and knees are all treatable with the deeper body tip.
Cell Factor and PRP can be added to the same appointment to support the rebuilding phase.
Aftercare
More downtime than mechanical microneedling, far less than a laser.

Expect redness, warmth and some swelling. The skin can feel tight and look gridded where the tips landed. Keep it clean and leave it alone.
Redness fades and any grid pattern settles. Most patients are comfortable in makeup by day three or four.
Skin may feel rough or dry as the surface turns over. Moisturise and stay out of direct sun.
Sun exposure, strenuous exercise, hot tubs and active skincare such as retinoids and acids until your provider clears you.
The first real tightening becomes visible as new collagen forms.
The full result arrives, and continues improving. This is why the treatment is sold as a series rather than a single visit.
Most patients return annually once the series is complete.
Aftercare
Your result lasts longer when what you use at home is doing the same work. This is the routine our providers start most patients on, dispensed through the practice. Not sure it is right for your skin? Take the skin quiz, or ask your provider to build one around the treatment you are having.

Frequently asked
Morpheus8 is an FDA-cleared device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. Ultra-fine needles penetrate the skin at customizable depths (up to 4mm), delivering RF energy directly into the subdermal tissue. This controlled heating triggers your body’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production for tighter, smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
You may notice initial improvements in skin texture within 1-2 weeks as swelling subsides. However, the real transformation happens over 3-6 months as collagen remodeling occurs. Most patients see significant tightening and texture improvement by month 3, with continued improvement for up to a year. Results typically last 1-3 years depending on skin condition and maintenance. Is Morpheus8 painful?
We apply topical numbing cream 30-45 minutes before treatment to ensure your comfort. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure or warmth. After treatment, expect redness and mild swelling similar to a sunburn for 2-5 days. Most patients return to work and normal activities within 1-2 days, and makeup can typically be applied after 24-48 hours.
Most patients achieve optimal results with a series of 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However, some may see excellent results with just 1-2 treatments, while others with more significant concerns may benefit from additional sessions. During your consultation, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan based on your specific goals and skin condition.
Yes! One of Morpheus8’s major advantages is its safety for all skin types and tones, including darker skin that may not be suitable for some laser treatments. The RF energy is delivered below the surface of the skin, minimizing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that can occur with other treatments. This makes it an excellent option for diverse skin tones.
Morpheus8 can treat virtually any area of the face and body. Common facial areas include the forehead, around the eyes, cheeks, jowls, chin, and neck. Body areas include the abdomen, arms, thighs, knees, and buttocks. It’s effective for treating wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, skin laxity, and overall texture concerns wherever they appear.
Morpheus8 offers a non-surgical alternative to facelift surgery with no incisions, no general anesthesia, and minimal downtime. While it won’t achieve the same dramatic lifting as surgery, it provides meaningful tightening and rejuvenation that many patients find sufficient for their goals. It’s ideal for those with mild to moderate laxity, or those not ready for surgery. Some patients use Morpheus8 to delay or complement surgical procedures.
Results from Morpheus8 typically last 1-3 years. To maintain results, we recommend annual maintenance treatments. Additionally, proper skincare including daily SPF, retinoids, and antioxidants will help preserve your results. Avoiding smoking and excessive sun exposure also helps maintain collagen levels. Our providers will create a personalized maintenance plan during your follow-up appointments. Individual results may vary. What Megan does
Depth and energy settings on an RF device are clinical decisions. Yours are made by a nurse practitioner or registered nurse, not delegated.
Morpheus8 and Exion RFMN are both in the group, alongside Ultherapy and mechanical microneedling. Nobody has to sell you the only device in the room.
Any two areas from $1,300 rather than $2,400 booked separately, because treating the jaw without the neck is what makes a result stop at a line.
Three sessions, four to six weeks apart, with progress photos tracked between visits so the change is measured rather than remembered.
Cell Factor and PRP sit alongside aesthetics here, so what supports the rebuilding phase is a clinical choice rather than an upsell.
Standardised training and the same protocols in every location.
