  Radiesse is a highly sought-after treatment for skin that has lost its elasticity. As it works, Radiesse stimulates the naturally occurring collagen beneath your skin to give you immediate results and make wrinkles less prominent on your face or other areas of concern with age!

• How Much Does Radiesse Cost?

  Radiesse can cost around $800 per syringe. The total cost of your treatment depends on the area you are having treated and the number of syringes you need to cover the area you are having treated.

• How Long Does Radiesse Last?

  Radiesse is a long-lasting dermal filler that contours, lifts, and volumizes the cheeks. The results of this injection last roughly 15 months – but don’t worry if it’s not quite perfect after 5-7 months, as we recommend coming back for touch-up treatments to keep those natural-looking refreshments alive!

• What Is The Difference Between Radiesse and Restylane?

  When it comes to looking your best, you can’t go wrong with either option. Radiesse thins out the skin and fills in any gaps while giving off a natural glow that will have people asking, “What are you doing?” Restylane does just what its name suggests: it expands into all corners of an area frighteningly accurately without being too heavy or obvious!

• Is Radiesse More Expensive Than Restylane?

  Both treatments are usually billed per syringe. Costs depend on the number of syringes used and the areas you want treated. Radiesse tends to cost between $650 and $800 per syringe, while Restylane tends to cost between $350 and $800 per syringe.

• Who Should Not Use Radiesse?

  You should not use RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® (+) if you have an allergy to any component of the product if you have a history of severe allergies, if you have a bleeding disorder, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should not use RADIESSE® (+) if you have an allergy to lidocaine or medicines like it.

• What Should I Tell My Doctor Before Getting Radiesse?

  Tell your healthcare provider about taking blood thinners or medicines that can interfere with blood clotting, such as aspirin or warfarin. These medicines might make it more likely that you will experience bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Tell your health care provider if you have any diseases, injuries, or disabilities of the hand, if you have a history of forming large, raised scars, or if you have had any other skin treatments such as skin peels.

• What Should I Do Before My Radiesse Treatment?
  • DO NOT consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours before treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising)
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood-thinning medications, if possible, for two weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo Biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and other NSAIDS have a blood-thinning effect. They can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
  • Schedule your Radiesse appointment at least two weeks before a special event you may be attending, such as a wedding or a vacation. Bruising and swelling may be apparent in that time period.
  • Discontinue Retin-A 2 days before and two days after treatment. Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold, sore, or blemish in the area.
  • Be sure to have a good breakfast, including food and drink, before your procedure. This will decrease the chances of lightheadedness during your treatment.
  • You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• What Should I Do After My Radiesse Treatment?
  • Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area. Unless instructed by the provider.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
  • Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.
  • Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling.
  • If you have swelling, you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
  • Use Tylenol for discomfort.
  • Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.
  • Take Arnica to help the bruising and swelling; start at least two days before injections.
