Two injectables, two different jobs
There is no single “BBL product.” Your result comes from combining a collagen biostimulator with a volumiser — and the ratio is what your provider is really deciding at consultation.
Most BHRC protocols lead with Sculptra for the foundation and use Radiesse to shape — so you leave with a visible change on day one, and keep building for three months.

Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection in the treatment area, bleeding disorders or blood thinners, autoimmune or connective tissue disease, a history of keloid scarring, or known sensitivity to poly-L-lactic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite. Your results timeline
This is a build, not a reveal. Setting that expectation correctly is most of what makes patients happy with it.
Before and after your treatment
- ↑Avoid blood thinners, NSAIDs, fish oil and vitamin E for 7 days — only with your prescriber’s approval
- ↑Skip alcohol for 24–48 hours to limit bruising
- ↑Arrive hydrated, and eat beforehand
- ↑Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- ↓Massage exactly as instructed — for Sculptra this is the 5-5-5 protocol (5 minutes, 5 times a day, 5 days) and it is the single most important step

- ↓No strenuous exercise, saunas or hot tubs for 48–72 hours

Product selection, dosing and anatomical mapping are reviewed by Dr. Stacey Naito, MD, Medical Director for West Hollywood and West LA. Treatments are delivered by Megan La Fuente, NP, our aesthetic nurse practitioner on site. You will meet your injector at your free consultation, before you commit to anything.

Why is there a 10-syringe minimum?+
Because fewer than that will not produce a change you can see. The gluteal area is large and takes far more product than a face. A 10-syringe protocol is the honest floor for a proportionate, visible result — quoting you less would be selling you a treatment that disappoints.
Is it really ‘instant’?+
Partly, and we would rather be straight about it. Radiesse adds volume you can see the same day. Sculptra — where most of the long-term result comes from — builds over 6–12 weeks as your own collagen responds. Day one looks good; month three is the actual result.
How long does it last?+
Sculptra-based volume typically holds 2+ years because the collagen is your own. Radiesse runs 12–18 months. Most patients maintain with one touch-up session a year.
Is it safe?+
It has a strong safety profile when done properly. BHRC uses blunt-tip cannulas rather than sharp needles in this area, which substantially reduces vascular risk, and all dosing and product selection is reviewed by a physician. Bruising, swelling and tenderness are common and settle within days.
What is recovery actually like?+
Most patients are back to desk work in 24–48 hours. You avoid sitting directly on the treated area for 48–72 hours and skip intense exercise for a week. The Sculptra massage protocol (5 minutes, 5 times daily, for 5 days) matters — it is what keeps the product distributing evenly.
How is this different from a surgical BBL?+
A surgical BBL harvests your own fat by liposuction and re-injects it under general anesthesia, with a 2–6 week recovery and surgical risk including fat embolism. The Instant BBL is injectable, takes 60–90 minutes, needs no anesthesia and has minimal downtime. Surgery achieves more volume in one go; this achieves natural shape without an operation.
Can I split it across two sessions?+
Yes — the 20-syringe protocol is often staged 6–8 weeks apart, which gives your provider a chance to assess how you responded before placing the rest. Many patients prefer the control.
Does the September price hold if I book now and treat later?+
Reserving online locks your September rate. Your consultation and treatment can be scheduled after the promotion ends — the rate you reserved is the rate you pay.
