Where to Stay & Stay Active Near Paradise Valley
Our Paradise Valley clinic sits at 10633 North Tatum Boulevard, Suite 104, in the same center as a Pilates studio, a massage studio and a salad spot. Many of our patients drive in from Scottsdale, Arcadia and the resorts along Lincoln Drive, and some fly in for a few days. This is the list we give them: where to stay, where to move, where to eat and where to rest, all within about 20 minutes of the front door.
Every business below was checked against its own website in October 2026. Drive times are estimates for normal traffic from our address. Schedules and policies change, so check with each place before you go.
Where to stay
Most of the resorts worth knowing sit along Lincoln Drive and McDonald Drive at the foot of Camelback Mountain, a straight run down Tatum Boulevard from the clinic.
Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale
The closest of the Camelback resorts to us. The fitness center runs daily classes that are included with the resort fee, and the Sunset Pool looks straight up at Camelback. There is also an 18-hole par-3 course for an easy afternoon.
Sanctuary Camelback Mountain
A quieter resort of 110 casitas and suites on 53 acres on Camelback Mountain. It has a 12,000 square foot spa with a meditation garden, a fitness center and a calendar of resort yoga and movement classes.
The Hermosa Inn
The small option: 43 casitas in the former home of 1930s cowboy artist Lon Megargee, with dinner at LON’s on site. Good if you want a few calm nights rather than a big resort.
JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa
A historic desert resort with bicycles, tennis and a pitch-and-putt course for low-key activity between appointments, plus mountain views from the grounds.
Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia
Home to Joya Spa, which has a private spa pool facing Camelback, saunas, steam rooms and what the resort describes as Arizona’s only hammam.
The Phoenician, A Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale
The largest of the group, on the south side of Camelback, with an athletic club, a resort pool area, golf and a full spa.

Pilates and reformer studios
Club Pilates Paradise Valley
Literally our neighbor in Suite 103. Reformer-based group classes at several levels, which makes it easy to fit a class in before or after a visit without moving the car.
Reformed Pilates Paradise Valley
Fifty-minute, full-body reformer classes, a short drive north on Tatum. Its website runs a first-timer offer for new students.
Workshop Pilates, McCormick Ranch
A reformer and heated Pilates studio in Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch, open seven days a week, for anyone staying on the Scottsdale side.
Yoga and mobility
CorePower Yoga Paradise Valley
Just up Tatum from us, with heated class rooms, showers, lockers and mat and towel rentals, so you can come straight from a hotel without packing much.
The Foundry Paradise Valley
A hot yoga and Pilates studio. The Foundry’s schedule covers 26&2 hot yoga, hot flow, hot Pilates, hot barre and yin, so there is a slower option on recovery days.

Strength and boutique fitness
Life Time Paradise Valley
A full athletic club with strength and group training classes, yoga and reformer classes, a pool, pickleball courts, a sauna and a cold plunge. Membership is required; the club offers tours.
Orangetheory Fitness Paradise Valley
Group classes built on heart rate based interval training, in the same center as CorePower, a minute up the road.
Healthy cafés
Original ChopShop, Paradise Valley
In our own shopping center and open from 7 a.m., which makes it the easy stop for a bowl, a salad or breakfast before an early appointment.
Flower Child, Paradise Valley
Bowls, salads, wraps and plates with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options marked on the menu. Open daily from 11 a.m.
True Food Kitchen, Scottsdale
A sit-down option on Scottsdale Road with vegan-friendly and gluten-friendly dishes and weekend brunch, good for a longer lunch with a friend.

Outdoors
Camelback and Piestewa Peak are the two big hikes in this part of town, and both are steep, rocky and busy. In Phoenix, start early, bring more water than you think you need and turn around before you run low.
Camelback Mountain: Echo Canyon and Cholla
Two routes to the same summit. The Echo Canyon trailhead has restrooms, potable water and a small shade canopy; Cholla has a restroom, a drinking fountain and bike racks. Camelback trails are open sunrise to sunset.
Piestewa Peak and Dreamy Draw
The Piestewa Peak Summit Trail is the classic climb, and the city describes the Dreamy Draw Recreation Area as the gateway to the wider preserve around it. Parking is open 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. (later in summer) and trails 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Dogs are not allowed on the Summit Trail at any time of year.
Recovery: massage, spas and saunas
Elements Massage Paradise Valley
Another neighbor in the same center, open seven days, for a massage after a long flight or a hard hike.
Resort spas
Joya Spa at the Omni Montelucia has saunas, steam rooms, a hammam and a rooftop spa pool. Sanctuary Spa at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain offers massage, body treatments and a meditation garden with a reflection pond. The Phoenician Spa reserves its facilities for guests who book a treatment. Each spa sets its own rules on day access and ages, so call ahead.
If you are a Life Time member, the Paradise Valley club also has a sauna and a cold plunge.
Fitting a BHRC visit into the week
Our Paradise Valley team sees patients Monday through Friday. Visitors often book a HydraFacial early in the trip, or come in for Botox and other neurotoxins a week or two before an event, so there is time for a follow-up if needed. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, ask about IPL photofacial at a consultation; whether it is a fit, and when to schedule it around sun exposure, depends on your skin and is decided with a provider.
Clinic details, hours and the full treatment menu are on the BHRC Paradise Valley page, or call (480) 398-8400.
BHRC has no business relationship with the places listed here and was not paid to include them. Details were checked on each business’s own website in October 2026; please confirm hours and policies directly.
