Botox in Santa Clarita & Valencia: Cost, Units & Treatment Areas

BHRC · Injectables · Botox

Almost everyone shopping for Botox in Santa Clarita starts in the same place: a search, four tabs open, and four prices that don’t seem to describe the same treatment. One clinic says $9 a unit. One says $275 an area. One won’t say anything until you come in. The confusion isn’t your fault — it’s that neurotoxin is priced by the unit, and almost nobody explains what a unit is. This guide fixes that: what Botox costs at BHRC Valencia, how many units each area of your face actually takes, what the alternatives cost, and how to tell a real deal from a headline.

Quick answer. At BHRC Valencia, Botox Cosmetic is $13 per unit, Xeomin is $12.99, and Dysport is $4.50 (on a different unit scale — see below). New clients take 15% off their first treatment. Most single areas run 10–25 units, so a typical first visit lands somewhere between $130 and $325 before discounts. Your exact number depends on your muscle strength and how many areas you treat, and it’s confirmed at a free consultation. Pricing current as of September 2026.

1 · What Botox Actually Costs in Santa Clarita

Here is the single most useful thing to understand before you compare a single price: Botox is sold per unit, not per area. A unit is a measure of the toxin itself. A “forehead” is not a fixed quantity — it’s whatever number of units it takes to relax your particular forehead, which depends on how strong those muscles are, how deep the lines already are, and what you want the result to look like.

This is why “$275 for one area” and “$13 a unit” can be the same treatment at the same price, or wildly different ones. Area pricing is only a good deal if you happen to need more units than average. If you need fewer, you’ve overpaid for the units you didn’t get.

One lever worth knowing is membership. Rejuvenation Reserve runs $99/month at the founding rate, includes a $99 monthly wallet credit, and takes 15% off neurotoxins and fillers. If you’re treating on a real schedule — three or four times a year — the wallet credit alone tends to cover the membership.

2 · How Many Units Will You Actually Need?

This is the number that determines your bill, so it’s worth understanding before you sit in the chair. The ranges below are typical for Botox Cosmetic. They are not a prescription: a first-timer with delicate musculature might sit at the bottom of every range, and someone with a strong, well-exercised frown might sit above the top of one.

Botox units by treatment area
Treatment areaTypical unitsCost at $13/unit
Forehead lines10–20$130–$260
Frown lines (the 11s)20–25$260–$325

Bunny lines5–10$65–$130
Lip flip4–6$52–$78
Jawline / masseter30–50$390–$650
Chin dimpling4–8$52–$104
Neck bands25–50$325–$650
Underarm sweating50–100$650–$1,300
Typical unit ranges by area, costed at the $13/unit Valencia menu rate. Ranges are typical, not prescriptions: your dose is set at consultation.

Two patterns show up again and again in the Santa Clarita chair. The first is that the “11s” cost more than people expect. The glabellar complex — those two vertical lines between the brows — is genuinely powerful muscle, and 20–25 units is normal. The second is that the forehead is rarely treated alone. Relax the forehead without addressing the frown muscles underneath and the brow can drop; a good injector treats them as a system, which is why “forehead and 11s” is the most common first appointment we see.

If you want the deeper version of this, we’ve written a full breakdown of how many units are needed for each injection site.

A quote built on units is a quote you can check. A quote built on “areas” is a quote you have to trust. Ask for the first one.

3 · Botox vs. Dysport vs. Xeomin

All three are botulinum toxin type A. All three work the same way — they interrupt the nerve signal telling a muscle to contract, so the muscle relaxes and the skin over it stops creasing. The differences are in formulation, how far the product spreads from the injection point, and, critically, how the units are counted.

Botox vs. Dysport vs. Xeomin
ProductPrice at BHRC ValenciaStarts workingTypically lastsWhere it shines
Botox$13/unit3–7 days3–4 monthsThe default for almost everything. Most predictable, most studied, most injector experience behind it.
Dysport$4.50/unit2–5 days3–4 monthsSpreads a little more, which suits broad areas like the forehead. Cheaper per unit but needs roughly 2.5x as many.
Xeomin$12.99/unit3–7 days3–4 monthsNo complexing proteins. Often chosen by people whose results have gotten shorter over years of treatment.
Read the quote, not the ad. A cheap per-unit special usually means Dysport. Because Dysport units are not Botox units, a forehead that takes 20 units of Botox ($260) can take about 50 units of Dysport ($225): close, but nowhere near the 65% saving the per-unit price implies.
Botox, Dysport and Xeomin compared. Note the unit-scale warning — it’s where most “deals” fall apart.

That last point deserves saying plainly, because it is the most common way people get misled on price. Dysport units are not Botox units. A dose that takes 20 units of Botox typically takes something like 50 units of Dysport. So $4.50 a unit versus $13 a unit is not a 65% saving — run the arithmetic on the actual dose and the two land within about $35 of each other for a forehead.

Dysport is still a genuinely good choice, and for broad areas its slightly wider spread can give a smoother result. Xeomin, which contains no complexing proteins, is often the pick for people who feel their results have gotten shorter over years of treatment. But choose them for how they behave, not because one sticker price looks smaller.

4 · What Actually Happens, Day by Day

The appointment itself is anticlimactic in the best way. You’re in the chair 15 to 20 minutes. The needle is very fine — most people describe it as a quick pinch, and numbing usually isn’t necessary. There’s no downtime; people come in on a lunch break from Valencia Town Center and go straight back to work.

The real timeline. Day 14 is the photo that counts.

The aftercare is short and mostly about not moving the product where you don’t want it: stay upright for about four hours, skip the gym that day, and don’t rub or massage the treated areas. Skip a facial or microneedling for a couple of weeks afterward.

Bruising is uncommon but possible, especially around the eyes where the vessels are close to the surface. If you’re prone to it, avoid fish oil, high-dose vitamin E, ibuprofen and alcohol for a few days beforehand — and know that a bruise that lingers longer than you’d expect is usually nothing to worry about.

5 · Four Ways to Pay Less Without Cutting Corners

Treat on schedule

Coming in at month three or four, before movement fully returns, usually takes fewer units than waiting until the lines are back at full depth.

Do the membership math

At three or four treatments a year, Rejuvenation Reserve’s wallet credit plus 15% off injectables typically outruns the monthly fee.

Start conservative

A good injector would rather add five units at your two-week check than have you sitting frozen for three months. Under-treating is cheaper and fixable.

Ask what the quote includes

Is the two-week follow-up free? Are touch-ups included? A slightly higher per-unit rate with a free assessment often costs less in total.

The one place not to economize. Neurotoxin is a prescription medication, and where it’s sourced and who injects it matter more than what you pay. Ask who is holding the syringe and what their license is. At BHRC Valencia the answer is always a licensed medical provider working under physician supervision — never a technician.

6 · Why Santa Clarita Comes to BHRC Valencia

Valencia is one community inside the city of Santa Clarita, and our studio sits in Valencia Town Center — which makes it a short drive from Stevenson Ranch, Newhall, Saugus, Canyon Country and Castaic. In practice, that means most of the SCV can be in and out on a lunch break rather than driving down the 5 into the Valley for injectables.

Botox is usually the front door rather than the whole house. If your concern is volume rather than movement — flattening cheeks, a softening jawline, thin lips — dermal fillers are the tool, and the two are frequently combined. If it’s skin texture and laxity, Morpheus8 does what no injectable can. And if the thing that actually bothers you is under-eye hollowing, that’s its own conversation, not a Botox one.

Botox relaxes movement. Filler restores volume. Most plans end up using both — for different problems.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Botox cost in Santa Clarita?

At BHRC Valencia, Botox Cosmetic is $13 per unit. Most single areas take 10–25 units, putting a typical first treatment between $130 and $325 before any new-client or membership discount. Xeomin is $12.99 per unit and Dysport is $4.50 per unit on its own unit scale.

How many units will I need?

Forehead lines typically take 10–20 units, frown lines 20–25, and crow’s feet 18–24. Smaller areas like a lip flip or chin dimpling take 4–8. Stronger muscles need more. Your injector maps this at your consultation before anything is billed.

How long does Botox last?

Three to four months for most people. Movement returns gradually rather than all at once. Very active people sometimes metabolize it slightly faster, and results often become more durable after a few consistent rounds.

Does it hurt, and is there downtime?

The needle is very fine and most people compare it to a quick pinch. There’s no downtime — you can drive yourself home and return to work. Stay upright about four hours, skip the gym that day, and don’t rub the area.

When will I see results?

Softening starts around day three to seven and reaches its full effect at about two weeks. Don’t judge the result before day 14, and don’t ask for more product before then — that’s how people end up over-treated.

Is Dysport cheaper than Botox?

Per unit, yes — but Dysport units aren’t equivalent to Botox units, and a given dose takes roughly two and a half times as many. Compare the total cost of the treatment, not the per-unit sticker. The two usually land close together.

Who performs the injections at BHRC Valencia?

The BHRC clinical team. Neurotoxin is a prescription medication and is only ever administered by a licensed medical provider.

Can I combine Botox with filler in one visit?

Yes, and it’s common. Botox addresses lines caused by movement; filler addresses lost volume and structure. They solve different problems and are often planned together at the same consultation.

Is Botox worth it for men?

Men typically need more units — often 1.5 to 2 times a comparable female dose — because the muscles are larger and stronger. The goal is usually softening rather than erasing. We’ve written more about Botox for men if that’s the question.

What’s the first step?

A free consultation at BHRC Valencia. Your provider assesses your muscle strength and facial movement, maps the areas, and gives you a unit count and a price before anything is injected. No obligation, no pressure.
