How is this different from regular microneedling?+
Standard microneedling creates micro-injuries in the upper skin to trigger collagen. Morpheus8 does that and delivers fractional radiofrequency energy through insulated needles up to 4mm deep. That heat is what contracts existing collagen and drives new collagen and elastin in the structural layer — the part responsible for tightening rather than glow.
Does it hurt?+
Topical numbing goes on 45 minutes beforehand. Most patients describe heat and pressure with brief stinging over bony areas like the jaw and forehead. The face takes about 30–45 minutes of treatment time.
How many sessions will I need?+
