What Is Morpheus8? Cost, Results, Downtime and Who It’s For

Skin tightening · Morpheus8

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency heat to tighten skin and smooth texture. Here is what it treats, what it costs at each BHRC clinic, and what recovery looks like.

The short answer. Morpheus8 is RF microneedling: fine needles deliver radiofrequency heat into the deeper layers of the skin to build collagen, tighten loose skin and improve acne scars. At BHRC the full face is $1,200 per session at every clinic that offers it. Most plans use about three sessions, and downtime is usually one to three days of redness and swelling.

What Morpheus8 is

Morpheus8 is an RF microneedling device made by InMode. Like standard microneedling, it uses fine needles to create tiny channels in the skin. The difference is that Morpheus8 also delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy through the needle tips, heating the deeper layers of the skin. That heat, plus the healing response, stimulates new collagen and tightens the tissue over the following months.

Because it reaches deeper and adds heat, Morpheus8 does things standard microneedling can’t do as well: it firms loose skin along the jaw and neck, improves deeper acne scars, and refines texture and pores in the same treatment.

What Morpheus8 treats

  • Jowls and jawline laxity. See Morpheus8 for jowls.
  • Acne scars and texture. See Morpheus8 for acne scars.
  • Crepey skin on the neck and chest.
  • Fine lines and skin laxity around the eyes.
  • Body areas such as the abdomen, knees and arms, including stretch marks and loose skin.

How much does Morpheus8 cost?

At BHRC, Morpheus8 for the full face is $1,200 per session at every clinic that offers it. Prices for other areas vary slightly by clinic:

Clinic Face Face + neck Face, neck + chest Eyes
West Los Angeles $1,200 $1,300 $1,750 $500
Paradise Valley $1,200 $1,300 $1,750 $500
Summerlin $1,200 $1,300 $1,750 $500
Henderson $1,200 $1,300 $1,750 $550
Valencia $1,200 $1,300 $1,600 $600
Westlake Village $1,200 $1,300 $1,600 $600

List prices per session, October 2026, before promotions. Henderson offers face packages of 3 for $3,000, and Valencia and Westlake Village offer face packages of 3 for $3,060. Body areas start at $1,300. Our West Hollywood clinic offers Exion RF microneedling instead of Morpheus8.

How many sessions? Most face plans use a series of about three sessions spaced several weeks apart, then maintenance. Some patients with mild concerns see enough from one or two. A package is usually the better value if you’re treating laxity or scarring.

Does Morpheus8 hurt?

Numbing cream is applied before treatment and left on long enough to work. Even so, Morpheus8 is more intense than standard microneedling. Most patients feel heat and pressure with each pass, especially over bony areas and at deeper settings. Treatment usually takes under an hour including numbing. Morpheus8 downtime, day by day

When What’s normal
Day 0 Redness, warmth and swelling, like a sunburn. A faint grid of pinpoint marks is common.
Days 1–3 Swelling settles, and is most noticeable under the eyes and along the jaw. Skin feels tight and dry.
Days 3–7 The pinpoint marks fade and light flaking may appear. Most people are comfortable in public with makeup within a few days.
Weeks 3–12 Collagen builds. Tightening and texture changes keep improving for months after each session.

Morpheus8 vs. other treatments

Compared with The difference
Standard microneedling Morpheus8 adds RF heat and reaches deeper, so it does more for laxity and deep scars, with more downtime. Full comparison.
Exion RF microneedling Another RF microneedling platform. Morpheus8 vs. Exion.
Ultherapy or Sofwave Ultrasound energy focused under the skin for lifting, with no needles and less surface downtime. Morpheus8 does more for texture and scarring.
Fillers and Sculptra These replace lost volume. Morpheus8 tightens and resurfaces. Many plans combine them. See what is Sculptra?

Who should not have Morpheus8

As with any microneedling treatment, it isn’t suitable during pregnancy, with an active skin infection or cold sore, or with a history of keloid scarring. The FDA’s guidance on microneedling devices also flags blood thinners and certain skin and immune conditions. People with pacemakers or metal implants in the treatment area need a medical review first, because the device delivers RF energy. Your provider screens all of this at consultation.

Frequently asked questions

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is an RF microneedling treatment made by InMode. Fine needles deliver radiofrequency heat into the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen, tighten loose skin and improve texture and scarring.

How much is Morpheus8?

At BHRC the full face is $1,200 per session at every clinic that offers it. Face and neck is $1,300, and packages of three lower the cost per session.

Does Morpheus8 work?

It is one of the most effective non-surgical options for mild to moderate laxity, texture and acne scarring, especially as a series. It won’t replace a facelift for significant sagging.

How long do Morpheus8 results last?

The collagen built after a series is long-lasting, but skin keeps ageing. Most patients keep results going with a maintenance session about once a year.

How long is Morpheus8 downtime?

Most people have redness and swelling for one to three days and look presentable with makeup within a few days.

Can I work out after Morpheus8?

Most providers ask you to avoid heavy sweating and hard workouts for about a day or two while the skin closes. Follow your clinic’s aftercare.
